Bizzutes Gift Shop

“Bizzute” was the nickname of Emile Stouff. Bizzute, or Uncle Biz, as he was called was a Tribal Chief, carpenter, basket maker, craftsman, and storyteller. He and his wife Faye operated a craft shop on the reservation where visitors went for years to buy tribally made goods and to learn the history of the Chitimacha Tribe.
